Ok so looking for a little info. I have a 92 fj it has 196,000 miles on it still a baby. I had traded a 2003 subaru with a 196,000 miles on it as well me and my wife thought we would like it um no sucked sucked oh ya sucked. I love toyotas I have had one run for over 300,000 miles with just changeing the oil and the basic stuff. Any who got the crusier love it, just since I got it I have done a lot of stuff on it which was expected, changed the tps, all new vac hoses, the air intake hoses, pcv valve and gromet the map sensor and now the radiator sprung a leek take that back lol a crack a half inch long sucks. SO I was reading the different forums on radiators,
1. ones off of e bay not sure
2. the koho radiator went to there web site they start at a 93 and go up from there.
3. went to the T.RAD site don't think I can buy off that site.

So what is a good radiator that is inexpensive to run on the 92.
If anyone could help me out would be great. I have been reading all the forums on this site for weeks have seen one on a radiator for a 92. I have learned a lot and plan on reading alot more. Thanks:)

Well you cannot get an OEM radiator anymore so your only options are aftermarket.

You cannot buy directly fromTRad. If you can find a distributor, that would be my direction.

So the ones on line through the toyota companys are not oem. Also your one of the parts guys that speak of on the forums right. I am new at this for give.

My friend just bought an all aluminum one off eBay for $119. The company shares an address with silla. We'll see how it fits.

Ya silla was one on e-bay that i saw but wasn't sure how good they were. Let me know how it works out, much appreciated.

Hi, I have used CSF all metal rads. For years have not had one go bad yet some are over 15 years old. Mike

I would not buy a Silla. CSF is a good Mfg, Koyo would be ideal. I worked for a distributor of rads and we stayed as far away from Silla as we could, on everything.

Looks like you are in Oregon. I bought a CFS radiator from a place in Portland a couple months ago. Really happy with it so far. Great fit, no shipping, all metal. If you are up in Portland anytime soon or willing to make the trip, PM me for the name of the place. They had a bunch of others, too. The aluminum rads were a bit cheaper it that's what you need.

I had a Silla in my very first cruiser (before I knew anything about OEM) and the first one leaked the day they put it in. The shop sent it back (before I knew anything about doing it my damn self) and the next one worked well for the rest of the time I owned the cruiser.

My thought on the matter is the company has poor QC. Unfortunately my friend didn't have any other options and Silla most likely buys this from the same factory that makes the Genesis/Shepherd deal that seem to be working for people.

I'll keep you posted on how it works out.

Ok, so I guess I should just assume the website is wrong...

Toyota part websites show all parts as "available" when you do a search for them and put them in your basket for checkout. It's a business. They are happy taking your money up front even on discontinued parts.

You will then get an email or a phone call a few days later saying, that part is discontinued and no longer available.

Whether something is discontinued or not requires an extra step that is proprietary to Toyota that you do not see and happens "backstage."

A human has to do this part.

I've got two of them that I'll sell.

Since they've gone unobtanium, it'll cost you:

$1,000 each + the ride.
