Between the Revtec, rough country, and fabtec, which lift is the best as far as vibrations in the front end. I know that the revtec has spacers to lower the third in the front and I was wondering if the others had the same thing.

I'd say go with OME personally. Revtek is a spacer lift, which isn't a terrible thing but if I understand things correctly you'll gain more travel with the Old Man Emu setup. I have OME on my Cruiser and it rides well, in addition to being very competent offroad. Plus it's under $700 which you can't say about Fab Tech.

How high do you want to go? I have the OME setup too and I'm happy so far. Also depends on how much you want to spend.

Check out Metal Tech site for Sway A Way (SAW) system,
I have the OME's and am thinking about upgrading.
SAW's are made in the USA and rebuildable.
You get what you pay for, but sometimes it is better to spend more now instead of upgrading your upgrades later. (like me)

+1 for OME. I am happy with the highth and the ride. I know it wasn't one of your choices :p

+2 for OME.

My 2 cents based on some personal research is for the money OME lifts are the best for the buck, If your looking for a little more fancy stuff go with the Sway Away coils in the front and OME srings and shocks in the rear, My set up is all sway away front and rear, I find the front is so nice but the back rides like a one ton over the bumps..Ome has a soft-med- or heavy spring, nice for us looking for the comfort and lift! Metal tech sells kits set up this way.

Fj 40 NUts, are you running the Heavy springs in the rear, that is why it is soo stiff switch out the meduium and you will have a great ridel.

One more for the OME, but unless you are running an aftermarket heavy steel bumper w/ tire carrier and other counterweights (like jerry cans and a hi-lift) use the Med duty springs.

I am running whatever Sawy away puts in their kit, It sits about an inch higher in the rear and rides like a brick now. But I am installing a ARB roof rack with the ARB tent and soon both front and rear ARB bumpers, so with the added weight I will see if it rides a little smoother, or i will change out the springs for OME mediums and keep the race runner shocks in the rear. I was concerned that the nitrogen pressure may be one of the reasons for the stiffness in the rear?? Any input is appreciated on this, seems to be stiff when it compresses on a hard bump, not on the rolling stuff. I am no expert on suspension dampening but I thought it might be the shock valving or pressure??

I am advocating OME as well. I have the heavy duty fronts and medium duty in the rear. The ride is great and I got about 4" of lift.

We went with the OME with Toytek rear springs. You can use the long-travel rear shocks, loving it, so far! Plus, they do include the little spacer in the front to level out the stance. Under $800

I am running the OME heavies up front, and the mediums back aft.
I like the ride, it is stiffer than stock.

I would vote for the FJ730 by SkyJacker coil over and the rear springs and shocks that were optional. I had a problem with one of the front springs settling off center and it was taken care of promptly. I like the articulation of the front and the rear, plus the fact that front lift is adjustable. I will include a short vid that shows how the FJ flexes.

This question has many answers, it depends on your budget, what you will do, what you want to do. I would say if you are going for cost and looks and ability you look no further than OME or ToyTec. They are essentially the same with minor alterations to ride on the toytec. If you have the budget then a adj res coilover from sway away or All Pro. I dont mention DR as I am not a fan. That is another thing, every one has their opinion. Some of those based on experience and others their own misguided conception of what that product is. I have had the WE All Pro set up for over a year and have wheeled it alot and have no issues. I also run an OME Med rear. I love my set up but want different shocks. So if possible ride and look at as many of the options in person and then do it. I didnt have that option as there were very few lifted FJ's when I did mine. i was one of the first to have the AP on the Blue Room.
