What is a good oil pressure for a 2F?

I have a mechanical guage "t'ed" in to my electrical. Once warm it reads about 40psi at idle. Then goes to 50 - 55psi at running speed. Shouldn't it be higher when running and lower at idle?
O and the stock guage is pegged at running speed and in the high end of normal at idle.

re-read your post. From what you said, it IS higher at running and lower at idle

40 at idle and 50-55 above idle is good. Both of my 2F's and 3FE run in that range.

As others have stated, this is good, really good. I have a test guage and I get 45psi at 2500rpm and 30 at idle in my FJ40.

For what ever reason, my higher mileage FJ60 is closer to your numbers.

Thanks for the replies. Sorry for the confusion about my question. after rereading it I really didn't state my question well.
I was comparing my readings to my 350 in my 40. At idle its at about 25 and at 2200rpm its at about 60psi.
I thought that maybe the 2F's readings should of been spread out a little more.
