Also - is there a a cover that goes over the cable assembly above the "B" in the picture. I am aware of the duct that goes over to the drivers side vent (think i located one).

Thank you for the replies! Yeh, I need to find out what fits over that bottom outlet, how it is shaped etc. SOR has a breakout of the unit plus the vents but not that outlet.

mine looks like that too...

The lower opening takes a rectangular duct. It disperses the hot air a bit more evenly. Probably removed for easy access under dash.
Without it your passenger will get little to no heat on their feet.

The top round opening feeds to your drivers door defrost vent.

no covers for any of that stuff.

Drive your truck for abut 20 minutes. Stop. Switch off. Listen for fan running.
