OK Just for John, nobody else should read past this sentence!
Just above the top post with in the thread is a grey tool bar. Second drop down menu, from the left, is "THREAD TOOLS".
Now if you are the author of the thread you should see the lower half of the box, with a heading of "MODERATION TOOLS".
With in this area there are four options
"CLOSE THREAD"
"MOVE THREAD"
"COPY THREAD"
"DELETE THREAD"
CLick on the corresponding bubble for the "DELETE THREAD" option, then click on the "PERFORM ACTION" box, just below the "DELETE THREAD" option in the menu.
This will take you to a new screen, that now asks for a reason for deleting the thread. The reason is "OPTIONAL", you can enter a reason for deletion or not, either way when you are ready, click on the "DELETE THREAD" box.
BOOM!! you have now just deleted your very first thread, and are ready for any future deletions that might be necessary. I like to delete mine when the issue with in the thread is closed out, just to keep the post area clean and let the moderators know it is OK TO DUMP THEM.
SORRY you did not get the COOL COLOR work up the I did in PAINT, it was bitchen.
