i'm just starting to get into fabricating stuff for the 40. i got a mig welder, two grinders, sawzall, jigsaw. but what do you guys use to bend steel?

right now, torch and a vice and a hammer....

Harbor Freight has a cheap little flat steel bender I wanna get someday...

I got the harbour frieght round stock and square stock bender, you could make nice lawn orniments with it, I sent it back.

Welded some blocks on my welding table, little heat and I was bending up 90s real nice.

To bend 90's, I use angle iron jigged up in my press. For everything else, a BFH and the vice.

Better question - how to "un-bend" 1/4"?? More heat and bigger BFH?

Most stuff bends way easier the first time than it unbends after you wreck it :D
