I've found that YT'ers come from a wide variety of job backgrounds so I was curious what everyone does for a living...

Me? I'm the Senior Graphic Designer at Nomad Communications in Norwich VT. I just passed my 10 year anniversary here. I do all manner of print and web design, from rinky-dink local bank newspaper ads to full-on branding and marketing campaigns for national and international clients.

My most "famous" piece is probably the 8 foot wide, Volvo 75 year anniversary safety poster which I designed and it was hung in every Volvo dealer in the US, Canada, and a few European countries as well.

But mostly it's ads, logos, marketing pieces, brochures, folders, letterheads & business cards, book covers and layouts and web sites, lots of web sites.

Lane you need to find a RHD Cruiser to do your route in. That would be awsome.

I design, build, operate, maintain, troubleshoot and demolish all types of water utility infrastructure..................when I'm not doing that I drive around in the woods. Almost sounds like fun.

I'm a wine importer. Mainly Spanish wines but some organic Chilean wines and a little California stuff. Do a bunch of charity wines and events too. Professional drunk.

We raise a ton of money for charity selling wine but my liver still hates me for some reason......

Hmmm, a gallon of syrup for the raffle would nice!

I was thinking of quarts

I'm a field service engineer for an international company. Those in the graphics world might have heard of the machine I currently work on. It's a Kongsberg table.

Some of the older equipment I work on are drafting tables. Actually this week I'll be in the Sikorsky plant in CT. They use our 25 YO tables to build their Black Hawks.

I had a full tour of the plant last year and saw Black Hawks in different stages of their build which was pretty cool.

If anyone would like an official Black Hawk ball cap let me know and I can grab some this week.

When I had a job :-( I was an IT director guy in the publishing business. So basically I asked all you designers whther you had rebooted yet ;-)

By day, I am the Deputy Fire Marshal for this small ivy league school in New Haven, CT. My Department is responsible for everything having to do with the F-word for the entire campus including real estate holdings. By night, I am an armed security officer. On the weekends, I run my own part-time business (foxfab4x4.com).
