What do these wires do, and why are they disconnected? (1 Viewer)

I'm in the market for a 100. Took a look at a 2000 LC today. Interior nice, body nice enough, seems to run fine and drives well. However, it has some underbody corrosion and some possible maintenance issues. I do not know these trucks well, and I'm not super mechanically inclined but I was surprised to see these connectors.... Disconnected. Seller knows nothing.

I know the picture is crap, there are actually two sets of connectors separated. Hard to make out. Location is passenger side engine compartment, just forward of the firewall.

What are they for? I didn't really find anything non-working on the truck, but I was a little rushed. Thanks for your help.

So I don't need to worry about them?
No, you do not. There are a few others too. One down near the catalytic converter on the driver's side, etc. I guess it was easier to use a generic wiring harness and leave the extra connectors unused then build a separate one for LC vs LX.
