This afternoon: Loaded up all four dogs, my family, and my daughter's friend and went for a hike.

This morning: Took my son fishing. Lakes are almost completely thawed! Fish weren't biting but it's always fun to hang out with him.

First time driving the LX on the trail, after 2 1/2 years of ownership.
No direct pictorial proof, though, pics are views along the ride:

Got my cab side fuse box installed at last. Pretty much copied @NLXTACY step by step guide. Only managed to get a few circuits wired out. Next week hopefully I will get the inverter installed..

Finished plumbing the intercooler into the engine bay, which also meant checking everything for clearance...thus needed to relocate the Hella Supertones and wiring to be under the DS headlight, ground off a few offending bits from the front valence, and tie-wrapped the winch power feed clear of everything.

Well it wasn't in the driveway for long, more issues have reared their ugly heads, over the weekend it was discovered that the mechanic who did the crank replacement let all the gas out of the AC, so straight up this morning I copped another bill for a regas and new evap/TX valve, passenger side low beam decided to die, fixed that, then a mate came round to take it for a drive since it was finally running, all went well until we turned around to come home, heard a ticking noise, thought it may have been a valve issue, lifted the bonnet to hear more of a pressure leak, so off to another mechanic who thinks an injector has done a seat, so he's got it overnight to hopefully sort it out for me to pick up after work tomorrow
On a positive note, the mate has a 1HDFT with a Grunter Extreme GTurbo on 23psi and he couldn't get the holy s*** grin off his face while driving mine :D I will admit, his did feel comparatively slow giving me a lift home after dropping mine off

I went to go look at a 1991 Land Cruiser that was wrecked and maybe buy some parts. I tell the guy what I want and he said he would phone or email me back with the prices. Overall the rig is in really bad shape. No good sheet metal, engine needs rebuilding, interior is trash, most of the glass is broken, frame is buggered, and one of the springs is wrecked. I never got a reply.

Then I see this add a few minutes ago, the guy now wants to sell the rig as is and not part it out. Here is the link to the add, 1991 Toyota Land Cruiser SUV, Crossover | used cars & trucks | Kamloops | Kijiji
That add just made my week and I am sure some of you will get a good chuckle out of it. Some people I tell ya. This is a prime example of why the price of Land Cruiser's keeps going up.

And for when the add is deleted here is a screen shot of it.

Hey, @LS1FJ40, it has a 3fe. You might want to buy it. I hear you are into road trips now.;)

Looks more like a rollover than a crossover but :meh: take a zero off the end of that price and he's getting closer

I wouldn't pay $42 for that thing...

Did you go up and over or just back up? lol

LOL I have $1000 of your money if any 80 can drive this.
My thoughts looking at it says the amount of momentum required to keep from high centering on the brake over means you would never touch the top before your very exciting trip down.

I was able to crawl up in a scary vertical position but I could not get out for a picture without the chance of not being able to get back in.
