I really like that color. It's so "in your face" it's cool.

I've already had Marjan up on the rack, pulled off the wheels and the brakes look fine. Unfortunately, I am slightly down in both Birfs and am slightly up in my front diff, with a moly smell and texture. It's not too bad, though. Rear diff is showing a touch of moisture in the fluid.

I think I'll drain both diffs and refill, and then top up my birfs and just drive it for another 10,000. After that, I think I'm looking at a rebuild/refresh. outside gasket is just fine, though.

Dragged this home and shoved in the garage. Bought new in the family in '49. Was handed down.

Then finally got around to installing my winch on the labs bump with my little helper.

I am very impressed with these tires. The sidewall is much more aggressive than they appear in most pictures. The tread shoulder is very wide, measured actual tread width of 11.5" on my tires. They ride great, and have just a slight hum.



I got the alternator back in this morning, swapped the new wheels and tires on, and went for a spin. Charging normal again. We'll see how many trouble free years I get out of this Toyota reman alternator.

I let my OCD go wild some more and continued to remove the POs liner thingie.

I'm all out of fingernails. Monstaliner maybe next week.
