ca glue is a great idea too! Part of me would like some custom door cards. But that is wayyy down the road.
I got these replacements and they're exceptional and relatively inexpensive

Yea! Was just looking at those and they are very tempting. I like the simplicity. Maybe I can set some funds aside for them after the holidays :)

I did the same when rebuilding my interior. They are decently made and fit perfectly.

Finished a little boost/egt gauge project... was thinking about doing a multi display in one of the vents for a while but then found these 3D printed gauge pods in Australia (cgcruisers) even available for LHD so I ordered one along with some old school analog gauges :) Sacrificed the center vent for that but it is capped off with an included cap to divert air flow to the other dash vents.

Had a little rain out here in the desert. Found water directly in my seat.
I poured some water & it was just standing water in the channel.
Yes, it was a plugged sunroof drain port.
Shoved some flexible wire down each port & walah...I have water dripping out under the rig.
I learned this trick from the ih8mud community.

Thanks guys.

These were a pain for me to install when I replaced my radiator. If you don't already know, it's significantly easier to get these in place if you remove your headlights and then use a socket extension to lever the A/C condenser out of the way.
You’re absolutely right. I used some black tape on a swivel hinge to have it semi hold to get the angle, right.
That’s because I was too lazy to remove the headlights as you described.
This time around the headlights will be removed. 🤙🏻

Had a gorgeous day here, and some shop time.

Wrapped up the Tuffy install for my wife’s 80, and got the Eacape gear dash and transmission hump/shifter cover installed.

Turned out pretty good.

I got Land Tanks front sway bar drop blocks installed a weekend ago, forgot to post. Hoping this solves the rubbing on the front drive shaft.
Be advised, if you have an older truck….these blocks have bolt holes 68mm apart. My OG from sway bar links are 60mm, so I ordered links for a newer year (94 I think) with 68mm spacing for the bolts…works great.
