Completed the new intake manifold and exhaust for my 1FZ-FE 5.7L high compression stroker, with long runners plus a 32 inch intake before the throttle body and an unfiltered velocity stack for a massive torque gain below 5000 RPM.

As for the exhaust, went with 6-1 long tube headers with 1 7/8 primaries and a 3.5 inch collector that goes into a split exhaust system one straight through side and one very quite side.

Also went with a DBW 4 inch electronic throttle body which gives me full control over the pedal translation and therefore feel of the throttle when tuning it with my MoTeC M130 ECU. This E throttle body requires a electronic pedal so I used a new 200 series Land Cruiser electronic throttle pedal for that.

Got my Solve Function swaybar brackets installed finally. I don't know if anyone else gets anxious about having parts sitting on the shelf waiting to be installed for more than a week, but I do. I've had these for almost a month and have been feeling unusually anxious lately and couldn't figure out why. Installed these and my anxiety is gone! Car mods are the best kind of therapy.
These things are sweet! Makes my winter punished chassis look terrible. Good thing spring is right around the corner so I can get the undercarriage cleaned up again so it doesn't look like a homeless person wearing genuine Air Jordans.

I have mine sitting on my basement floor so no, I don’t get anxious about parts sitting, been too cold in my locale to wrench and my garage isn’t heated (yet). These look great and will have them installed soon.

Finally went camping a day late after fiddling with a faulty fusible link.
Testing out a new Benchmade knife and an antique Kelly camping hatchet I hung on a stick of hickory. You can see the amount of forged blade left.
Love how the exped Megamat fits in back. Way more comfy than a tent on a windy night!

New SuperPro rear sway bar links. Was getting loud binding at articulation and these fixed it right up! Got Tom Woods driveshafts , new Toyota belts, and some Delta goodies coming. We have our first big trip with the 80 later this month to Death Valley. Trying to go over the car with a fine tooth comb to make sure it’s ready to go.

Busy weekend I started with the Delta tail gate storage. I then removed the hard water line to drill and tap for the temp sensor, routes the wires and spliced into the gauges. Added an interior MOLLE panel to the console finally swapped in my dash LEDs and got the D back!

I got the trans union from Radd Cruisers that comes pre tapped but I’ve run into a wall trying to find an adapter for the OEM sensor port can anyone shed some light on this?
