How are the tires? Been curious about that exact tire for awhile.

So far I like them! They ride smooth, and feel really planted. I just tore the truck apart for paint, so I won't have any other thoughts for a while.

Different size, different vehicle, but I've been really happy with the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss on the minivan. Ride is good, handling is good, noise minimal for an AT, and surprisingly solid in the snow. Talked to a tire guy who said guys aren't getting a lot of mileage out of them, but mine still look pretty good ~8k miles later.

Just finished the 50 mile break-in on the new engine with a new Magnuson supercharger. So far, loving it!! Taking it easy for the next 500 miles. The front and rear was restored, along with other restoration work and updates. All OEM with a few exceptions. Can't wait to get her out on the trails. damn... didnt realize I needed to spend 8.5k so badly. I need this in my life

Well, it's not much, but it's a hell of a lot more trustworthy. New hood latch, I need to run the new cable, but this makes me happy 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼

1500 miles trip to OR and back across the Sierras in a snowstorm. Love driving it when conditions are marginal. Slept in the rig at 16F outside. It was nice and cosy. Started with a touch in the morning without the glow screen. Rig did 22.5 mpg. I figured 840 miles range before refueling. Never fill expensive diesel in CA.

Ofer, were you using a diesel heater while u slept?
Hahaha. No. My wife.

The troopy that I’m building has a hydronic ESPAR heater for instant hot water and water-to-air heater for the cab.

By the way, these cheap Chinese diesel air heaters are DEADLY. The chamber cracks and you get Carbon Monoxide into the cab. If you use them, you must use a CO detector/alarm.

Just bought a vevor diesel heater, haven't used it yet, but this is exactly what I was worried about. I'm honestly fine to continue throwing two hand warmers in my sleeping bag for the rest of my life

I’ve heard of at least one incident with fatalities.

Pics from Harlan County, KY today… (The KAT is a blast)…
