Tore my front axle down for it's first PM (that I know of). Found one bad bearing (explains the slight noise). Also checked out the PHH. Ordered a box of parts from cdan including the PHH today. That PHH looks like a PITA.

Media blasted my center caps and ran a bunch of parts through the parts washer. Hopefully get it all back together next weekend and paint the caps.

i went to switch out my starter and realized it must have come from a 3fe cause it wasnt the same as mine.

Finished another video edit from Rausch Creek May 2012 trip with my friend Kevin in his white 4Runner, hope you like

Took all of the interior carpet out and pressure washed it.

No pictures, but this thread helps me stay motivated...

I had the remaining part of a replacement sensor plug from when I repaired my knock sensor, so I wired a 4.7k resistor into it, and with a little trimming of the connector itself plugged it in where the EGR temp sensor plugs in.

No more CEL. Next up is some vacuum line rerouting.

I also scheduled some appointments for Thursday. In the AM my brake controller and 7 pin harness is getting wired up, and at noon some new pioneers and a head unit are going in.

After that, I went home feeling froggy and ordered 4x new Falken Rocky Mountain ATS's in the 285/75R16 flavor for the old girl, scheduled to arrive on Thursday.

She'll be a whole new truck by Friday!!

Wheeled with some other MUD members in Bridgeport, TX for the first time.

Sorry I missed this trip - Family in town. Will try to actually make a meeting and make a run.

This weekend, my father from Vegas, (who got me into cruisers in the first place with his 60 and 80, now long gone) commented how solid my 95 with 227K on the clock felt compared to his 02 Sequoia.

Would be good to have you out next time Josh!

Ok, it's been a few weeks, but we took the LC to Medano Pass and the Great Sand Dune National Monument. Had a great time!! I must say though, the last creek crossing was extremely deep! I lot deeper than I can remember. (not pictured)

Finally replaced my smashed tailgate. License plate light isn't working though - need to figure out if it's just a bad bulb in the new tailgate, or some bigger problem. Seems odd that both bulbs would be out. Took the kids camping with some friends up near Westcliffe

EricG,

My family has a cabin near westcliffe, close to Alvarado Campground, where did you camp?

I'm honestly not to sure - girlfriend's brother has some land up there. I was following somebody else and quickly got turned around on dirt roads. We turned north on Oak Creek Grade at Westcliffe and it was maybe another 20 minutes or so from there.
