did some camping and light wheeling with my buddy anthony.l in his 100 series near Naches, WA. this was my 3-year old son and my 80's maiden voyage into the wilderness and they both handled it like a bauce!

Did you run your 80 on Funny Rocks, or were you guys just spectating? That place is like a natural amphitheater to observe sheet metal destruction.

I ran mine on 33's up a few different lines there and it did pretty well, lots of fun....

I really like it. Its got clean lines. How much?

Got the rear bumper fitted. I still need to paint it, drill the hole for the back-up camera and decide on the swing-out, but it came out pretty sweet. I particularly like the exhaust routing. For those interested, it was built by Tommy Gun Fabrication in Phoenix.

Got my rear panhard drop bracket installed. Super easy job and my panhard is almost level now. excuse my dirty undercarriage :o
Also thanks lcwizard for the quality product

not this time. my son was asleep in his car seat by the time we got there, so we just spectated. prior to funny rocks we took a fun trail to tripod flats though. :)

naches has been an annual camping trip for us for the last few years, so hopefully next year (with a bit more armor) i will have the guts to try funny rocks!

What brand bracket is it? And how much?

Naches is my favorite area. I ran funny rocks the first time without any armor and just a 2.5" lift. Stick to the far right side line, you'll be fine.

I took my family camping this weekend for three days just north of there near Blewett Pass. Ran the Tronsen Ridge trail, and Hole In The Rock trail.

We then went over to the Cle Elum Valley and wheeled the Fortune Creek and Van Epps trails. The wife and kid had a blast. Pictures to follow...

My power steering was starting to whine after the truck was good and hot. I was worried that maybe the pump was going, but it has never lost any fluid. So, I figured I would start by replacing some lines and the fluid.
The reservoir Out and Return lines were pretty brittle, the rest seem to be good and pliable still. I replaced the top two and refilled with Lucas power steering "fix".
So far (about 200 miles) it is working 100% better.
Hoping that it stays that way...

Sorry, no pics. Not really that interesting anyway!

While driving down to South Padre Island last weekend, I had a freaking blowout. Luckily, I had road hazard insurance from Discount Tire. The bad part about the experience was me not finding the damn hooked rod that's used to crank the bottle jack. I had to crawl under and crank it with a pair of vice grip pliers :o

Took a day trip to Evan's Creek, on Mt. Ranier. Had 6 rigs and had a great time, pretty darn dry but got some good wheeling in.

Forgot the pics:meh: Third one shows the new 80" gate-keeper.

It is TOR's. That's Bobby White! He passed me leaving Bonney Lake that day. I had taken my little brother out there shooting.
