I got tired of burning “favors” for brake bleeding...power bleeder is well worth the investment.

The power bleeder has been on the shelf for several years. After I saw/heard a couple have issues and brake fluid everywhere I went to vac. Like I said above the vacuum works for me.

Tested the fit of my most recent eBay score

Who did you go with for the front leather?

@FJ60Cam MOSLEY MOTORS

I'm going to have to do a review once I get the cruiser back out of the garage to actually take good pictures in the sunlight.

I installed it myself, so an upholstery shop would probably do a better install than my 1 banana skill set.

Only advice is to just steam out your stock foam, they are cut intentionally not to look baggy and restore the fact appearance.

I bough all new OEM foam and it is a super tight fit installing it.

However I can tell you after dealing with 3 different vendors Cam has the best product on the market. You can look at the Delta VS shop truck, he did the custom leather for them.

I am a pain in the ass customer and my build is probably cursed. However Cam took care of me and I can't say enough good things about his shop and customer service.

In order to make room for the custom Intercooler expansion tank I am having made, ABS had to go. I was already planning on deleting it since I loved the results when I deleted it on my Cummins 80.

Flaring custom brake lines in the engine bay is not my favorite thing to do, maybe it’s just the kit I have is a PIA to use. I took the igniter bracket, reshaped it a little bit and used it to mount a Wilwood manual proportioning valve off the side of the charcoal canister. The LSPV got deleted at the same time and I replaced the 80 ABS master with a larger 1” bore T100 Non-ABS master...which is perfectly sized for my 4Runner front calipers.

Note to others deleting ABS and LSPV, don’t try to use the short M10x1.0 fittings that are on the output side of the ABS pump...they do not seal in the Toyota T fittings despite the same thread size and pitch. You have to use the longer fittings that are on all other lines besides the ABS.

Who did your valve cover hydro dip? How was the quality?

100% upfront I'm stealing your idea, but doing black and gold carbon fiber when turbo time comes.

Creative Custom Finishing. Looked really pretty until a few heat cycles cracked the clear coat :(

Next time I pull it I will just have it powder coated.

a few weeks ago, my daughter and I tested positive for Covid. was right at the beginning of a spike in cases here in Utah. Was surprised to test positive since we've hardly left the house. I've been working from home since March. Anyway, when I got tested they told me there was a huge backlog of tests and that it would take 10-12 days to get results! Kinda crazy since you're supposed to isolate for two weeks if you test positive. Well we pretty much isolated anyway and by the time I got my results, they told me I was already past the isolation period since I should have been isolating since the onset of symptoms, which I had done.

But to be cautious, we wanted to keep our distance from others but were tired of being in the house. So we took off for some camping as a family. Was just what we needed. Here's a few pics. But now I want the "I survived Covid" t-shirt. :)

Glad you are all ok.

What size is this camp pad?

It is an exped mega mat 10 duo medium. It measures 40.9" wide and 72" long. It also has an r value of 9.5 so it is great for cold weather.

I have been using an exped down-mat for backpacking the last few years and it has been awesome. Based on that experience and many great reviews of the product I decided to try out this mega mat duo. I couldn't be happier. I slept on it last night and it was awesome.

Did a quick trip to Mollies nipple and used the lockers for the first time. They worked great, the previous owner wired them into an oem diff locker dial and they are even hooked up to the OEM diff locker light in the cluster. I was blown away by the difference in traction compared to my 91 with the same tires and rear locker only. The front locker makes a lot of difference....

Brought the 80 home yesterday, to get caught up on some maintenance. Lifter cover was leaking, and my oil sending unit had a bad connection. Replaced a section of the wiring harness, and it's good as new. Cleaned the oil off the engine and undercarriage. Replaced the intake elbow, since it was starting to crack.

Also set up the Max Coupler on the trailer. It tows very nicely, and so quiet.

Next...

The rear winch needs wired up.

Brake booster replacement. Going to use a 4runner booster.

replaced my front window runs yesterday, they were so old and stiff you probably could have beat a man to death with then thats how hard they were. front windows are running a lot smoother and faster but im sure ill still need to do the motors soon. its getting loaded up later this morning and im heading down to the boat to go race

Wasn't my 80 but I took 2 wrecked bumpers and made 1 good bumper for a buddy.

And more pictures, around here we call these kinds of welds bird turds.... Whoever put this bumper together didn't bother grinding this weld flush so I cleaned it up.
