I don't at this time, the next time you are in Boise visiting DVS you are welcome to take a look at it.
I’ll be there next Friday night and most of Saturday at the shop.

In preparation for my turbo install I recently picked up a spare valve cover and sent it out to Rick at Creative Custom Finishing for some serious spa treatment.

That valve cover should be included with all turbo deliveries. :P

What about a dremel with cutting blade?
That’s what I ended up with. I got maybe 1/3 of the way through and I think I need a new cutting blade. PITA!

4 years ago I picked up a rather neglected triple locked '94 LC80. Named her Molly.

Drove her for a year before I settled on what I wanted to change. First thing to go was 6M1..Pretty stoked with the transformation and the journey to get there. Couldn't have done it without all the help from mud. 60k miles later including multiple coast to coast trips. Still my daily driver.

Are you replacing an earlier set of Delta Arms on your 80? How much lift are you trying to achieve? I have an 80 with a Cummins and am interested in how this turns out for you. If your selling your earlier set of Delta Arms let me know I would be interested in buying them.

No I am not replacing them got these second hand and I am going for 3-4" lift, I really love how good my rig drives now since I put these on I would say buy a set of @Delta VS arm's and you will be as happy as I am so far, I hope to install my springs tomorrow if I can

I have been planning to buy a set of @Delta VS arms I just need to recoup from my
last buy. They are on the list. I check their site frequently looking to see if they have a scratch and dent used set listed. I expect I will eventually have to poney up and get a set.

Currently I am running OME J springs with spacers in front. I am trying to stay at about a 4inch lift with the Cummins. Please post up your thoughts after you get those springs installed. Do you recall what specs. the delta arms were built to?

Things that you won’t hear an 80 series owner say.

  1. I can’t believe how fast we’re driving!
  2. Wow! Our gas mileage is great!
  3. I’ll race you title for title
  4. No need to check those knuckle nuts, I put them on super tight last year.
  5. As your driving with your wife. Isn’t it amazing how quiet this landcruiser is?
  6. Clearing that 401 code is so easy!
  7. I just love the feel of cracked leather seats!
  8. I’m glad they put that pesky heater hose where they did, it is so accessible.
  9. Whoever invented these sun visors is a genius!
  10. Who needs cup holders?
  11. No need to change that heater control valve, they last forever.
  12. Who said iron and aluminum don’t pair well.
  13. She never leaks😀
  14. I’m glad all of the parts are still available
  15. I’m one hundred percent satisfied with how my land cruiser is today. Nothing else is needed.
  16. Seriously sweetheart, $5000 for this cruiser is a great price! It needs nothing!
  17. I don't think I want to buy another land cruiser.

#15 can be omitted. At least in my case. :rimshot:

Had the front windows tinted.

Attached and wired up an arb twin located in my wits end RQP @NLXTACY. Still some things to detail, switch placement and fabric wrap some wires for a clean install. Airing up my 37’s from 12 psi to 35 psi takes this set up 2.5 minutes per tire. Thats half the time it take my single arb compressor to do the same on my 200 series which has 35’s.
very happy with this. Well made product.

Made a quick jaunt to the high country (9800ft) to test some new gear with my son. The Cruiser paid me back with some really nice mileage. 263 miles and I am not even to 1/4 tank. I also really appreciated how well it drives not loaded down for a weeks worth of traveling and towing my teardrop.

I adjusted my valve lash on the old 3fe.. also sat there with a tooth brush and scrubbed all the grit off the rocker arms.. those things were grimey but after the adjustment she purrrrrrrrs. one valve I think the forth one up from the back was soooo out of spec I am surprised it was running so well prior to the adjustment. tomorrow is welding in a new exhaust bracket

I still remember that old green girl.

Pulled the itres off to install wheel spacers again ( she rubs bad) only to find my bulletproof nitto's had an issue, It looks like I chucked up my rear drivers tire in a lathe and machined it, Must have spun it up whilst logged against a rock Im guessing. But it was time to actually use the 3 yr old spare. First issue Ive ever had with my last 2 sets of mud grapplers. Glad I caught it before it fialed. The UP side of this Is I had a chance to Fill a 37in tire from dead flat to 35PSI with the extreme aire amgnum I got from @LandCruiserPhil So that video will be up on JailBreak Overlander on Youtube for those that have never seen an extreme aire do its thang.
