The pup and I went for a few days drive around the El Dorado Hills, CA. I heard a scary sound coming from my water pump about 300 miles in, but it went away... for now...

Also, need to address the hump in my brake pedal, just had the rotors turned and I don't think it took well..

That rig is bad ass.

I bought the 80 a couple months ago, but it's spent most of it's time with Ryan at OTRAMM getting the new exhaust mocked up. The exhaust on the truck when I bought it was shot, and it didn't have cats, so I couldn't pass VA emissions. It was certainly worth the wait, the new exhaust sounds fantastic, looks great, and allowed me to sail through inspection. My truck is supercharged, and my lord is it much more responsive now as well. Very happy with it!

Video of the new exhaust noise please!!!! I'd love to hear what it sounds like!

Received my new RCV axles today. Now just gotta find time for the install.

And this is for @LS1FJ40 , after giving me sh*t for my mitsubishi lift trucks. Scored a sweet Toyota lift for cheap yesterday. She needs lots of cosmetics and tires but runs awesome. I promise it will be the best kept lift in the shop!

Looks like you need some 37's, sliders, and maybe bumpers and you'll be GTG!

I just recovered a plow with the old Cruiser. My wife said "I didn't recognize our rig because it looked so small next to his truck." It took 5 tugs and he was out. Now, he's going to plow my driveway for me!

Did this a couple days ago. My highlift has migrated a few times on my rear bumper. It was first mounted toward the middle of the truck. Then it got moved close to the hinge when I added a fuel can basket last year. It's bugged me since then because the lift gate would lightly touch the highlift when I opened the lift gate. So I built new mounts that put it back to the center of the truck so I don't have a problem with the liftgate any more.

It was done at shop my boss was managing at the time. It's actually upol raptor liner and was sprayed on. The hood was supposed to be much darker, but the shop missed what I was trying to convey.

That still looks pretty bada$$. That color was a very close second color choice for me and I almost went with it in honor of my FJ60, which I still miss daily. Sure wish I still had that rig (the one in my profile icon, in fact).

My G55 was nicknamed Stormtrooper by my son.

And yes, I'm aware of the poser grill guard and tail light guards. And don't mention the wheels.

It was actually one of my favorite vehicles. It was purely a road vehicle. Part of me wishes I still had it. That thing was the sh!t!

It was far from hideous!

Agreed, those are pretty sweet!

Letting your kids or significant other name your rig is a time honored tradition. How else can you get them invested?

Who makes your rear bumper? I like it

Were getting smoked here on the island the ocean is pissed, went out eralier couldnt see total whiteout for hours, plus the window fogging up sucked. I have to fix that

Ordered up a roof rack. Prinsu from CBI offroad. Got 10% off basically cancelled out shipping. Gotta say I’m impressed with it. Took an hour and a half from packaged(10’ long and 10”x10”) to installed.

Also worked on some vents for heat. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s mine.

Yeah, the windows on my rig fog up too. Is that common for 80s? I might try some Fog X.

Shouldn’t be. Does your AC work? If so and you’re still fogging up then you might have a tiny pin hole leak in your heater core.
