I’ve had the same exact USB port on the shelf for months. Since then I remembered a double adapter I simply plug into the cig socket. The problem I really want to overcome is no power there unless the key in ON. Did you set it up to be an always hot power outlet?

Baldi, I set it up that's there's power only when key is on, used the original wires for cig lighter.

I cut the plastic L shape double cig lighter connector in half with wire cutters and just plugged em into the blue sea + and -

workes like a charm

I cut this in half in pic...original wires so I could just plug in ;)

What about adding the Blue Sea rectangle one? It fits in to one of the many rectangle blanks. Slight filing needed but not much. Then just wire it directly to the battery or a Blue Sea fuse panel or whatever.

That would work as well but my cig lighter was having issues so I wanted to remove it and go the 1045 route and use the wires so its off till keys are on ;)

Just ordered Otramms SS exhaust Im stoked, hopefully can pick it up on way back east from my cross country. leaving in a week ish, cant take this cold no more. What a sweet exhaust this kid has built

I’ve been doing business with driveline sevice in west Sac for nearly 15 years. They are an old shop with lots of experience and won’t try to cheat you or steer you wrong. They won’t use Chinese crap either.

They won’t be as cheap as some of the prices you see members post up from around the country but getting it done correctly the first time is worth something.

Are you in need of a driveline now?

Great info, thanks! Yes, my front ujoints need replacing so might as well do all 4 since they are all originals and will go sooner than later.

I only had them put in new joints and a balance for a 97" F350 rear DL...but work and turn over time was good and fast...

Thanks guys, will give them a call once my u joints arrives!

Both are created equal in terms of performance as I run both

NO issues with the extra overhang from the RTT I stayed within the roofline because I was concerned it would be noisy, tippy etc. But Im looking at a different RTT set up something I can use an awning with

Extra overhang did not cause any issues and I pushed through many an overgrown trail. The size of the tent did not cause any extra noise but just the fact that it is up there was annoying for me. Dunno if I am gunna keep it.

She’ll need a bath.

Patience grass hopper, you must become one with the steering wheel....... b4 you drive off the cliff

How many hours do you get out of a 20lb bottle?
A burner or appliance rated at 60,000 BTU/hr (with burner turned on to "High") will burn 60,000 BTU every hour which means consumption of fuel is one gallon of propane every 1.53 hours. (92,000 BTU/Hr / 60,000 BTU/Hr = 1.53 hours that one gallon would last Providing the burner remains on "high" you can determine the number of hours your propane supply with last. To adjust for appliances, like a furnace, that are controlled by a thermostat and only cycle "ON" maybe a few minutes per hour, you would then need to adjust your calculations. For example if the furnace cycled on for 15 minutes every hour in the winter you would adjust by a factor of 4. (92,000 BTU/Hr / 60,000 BTU/Hr = 1.53 hours that one gallon would last x 4 = 6.12 hours of furnace use for each gallon in inventory)

Drove 3000 miles in 10 days to make it home to Houston from Kentucky. CEL came on and went into limp mode 5 minutes from home. Thanks to @lukefj80 and a crimp connector, fixed the broken wire at knock sensor #1. Rolled along at 80 in the 80! Got a chance to meet up with @duggy and check out his new shop. Great guy with alot of knowledge and enthusiasm for Land Cruisers. Rolled back home to the cold! Hoping my jerry-rigged knock sensor connector holds off until it wams up! Happy New Year to you all! The Land Cruiser community is f***ing awesome! I hope to meet more of you in person, I'm hoping to make a few more events this year!

Got a new ARB front bumper and Warn winch, son helped me mount it up but then it started to rain. Wiring up the winch and installing the corner lights will have to wait until next week.

looks like some nice garage space in that pic . . .

I bought the 80 a couple months ago, but it's spent most of it's time with Ryan at OTRAMM getting the new exhaust mocked up. The exhaust on the truck when I bought it was shot, and it didn't have cats, so I couldn't pass VA emissions. It was certainly worth the wait, the new exhaust sounds fantastic, looks great, and allowed me to sail through inspection. My truck is supercharged, and my lord is it much more responsive now as well. Very happy with it!

While it was there, I had a few other things done, Dobinson's rear bumper, aussie locker, sliders, winch, front crank seal, bearing repack. Before sending to OTRAMM I had swapped out the 20" methods that came on the truck, but I think I went a little small on the new tires, I'll remedy that later.
