I've done 2 in vehicle and this one in house, and this 1 was by far the easiest. Much more comfortable to sit at a table and do it than sit in truck. My only complaint is, to have it come out perfect you have to count the holes so the seams line up right and start accordingly. I got 2 right one off by 1 hole. Not the end of the world and I'm the only one who will notice. The kit comes with more than enough thread to do over if I wanted to. Done is better than perfect. Watch a few YouTube vid's you will find different ways to stitch it some look pretty nice, if it matters
Oh i watched and watched still came out like crap LOL building welding nuts and bolts and 12volt etc no prob If I can see it I can do it. sewing ever since I was at ft benning is not my strong suit. and a poorly sewn steering wheel (to me) is a distraction so......

I bought the 80 a couple months ago, but it's spent most of it's time with Ryan at OTRAMM getting the new exhaust mocked up. The exhaust on the truck when I bought it was shot, and it didn't have cats, so I couldn't pass VA emissions. It was certainly worth the wait, the new exhaust sounds fantastic, looks great, and allowed me to sail through inspection. My truck is supercharged, and my lord is it much more responsive now as well. Very happy with it!

While it was there, I had a few other things done, Dobinson's rear bumper, aussie locker, sliders, winch, front crank seal, bearing repack. Before sending to OTRAMM I had swapped out the 20" methods that came on the truck, but I think I went a little small on the new tires, I'll remedy that later.

I love having options in the morning!

I was following the exhaust thread and it looked very nice and tight. What downpipe did they end up going with?

New Year’s Eve day trip up Rubicon to Spider Lake. More snow and less ice would have made it better. The lake is frozen pretty thick but melting in the 50 degree heat wave.

Thanks! have you used them? any experience with them directly or indirectly with them?
I’ve been doing business with driveline sevice in west Sac for nearly 15 years. They are an old shop with lots of experience and won’t try to cheat you or steer you wrong. They won’t use Chinese crap either.

They won’t be as cheap as some of the prices you see members post up from around the country but getting it done correctly the first time is worth something.

Are you in need of a driveline now?

Sure is. I finished up the fixtures last week.
I went to your site and didn’t find the exhaust parts for the 93-94 models. Am I going blind?

I only had them put in new joints and a balance for a 97" F350 rear DL...but work and turn over time was good and fast...

So I just put in a blue sea 1045 duel USB in place of the cigarette lighter, what a pain but turned out nice.

my big mits have a hard time dealing with dash parts and all them stupid connectors...thought I was gunna bust up everything.

Once you get cig lighter out you have to make the opening just slightly bigger, a round file worked ok.

The plus and minus original connector I just cut in two and plugged it into blue sea USB...gray wire is plus (hot)

NO issues with the extra overhang from the RTT I stayed within the roofline because I was concerned it would be noisy, tippy etc. But Im looking at a different RTT set up something I can use an awning with

I’ve had the same exact USB port on the shelf for months. Since then I remembered a double adapter I simply plug into the cig socket. The problem I really want to overcome is no power there unless the key in ON. Did you set it up to be an always hot power outlet?

What about adding the Blue Sea rectangle one? It fits in to one of the many rectangle blanks. Slight filing needed but not much. Then just wire it directly to the battery or a Blue Sea fuse panel or whatever.
