Lol, I hadn't thought of that. Well played.

You gonna add a intercooler sometime?

Jason, y'all up at windrock already?

Looks awesome Hunter. Text me a video of it screaming if you get a chance....

Anyone out there who can help me put the diff drop on my 100? This is my third try. First time, using hand tools couldn't get the main bolt that holds the bracket. Second time, bought an impact wrench. Still won't budge cause my compressor only goes to 125psi. Had the guys at the shop bust it loose for me and I still can't get it. I don't need heat. Just need enough leverage or some one with a better air compressor. Any takers? Thanks!

Mine is 125 psi too or I would say bring it on over. Gonna have to put a bit more a$$ behind it :)

Yeah. I can't get it high enough off the ground to get any more ass on it.

It annoys the piss out of knowing what an easy job this is supposed to be. One Fn bolt...

You know anybody with an electric impact? My makita on a full charge will usually do the trick on most tough bolts. If it won't it usually requires a cheater bar...

I don't. And unless I can get it up on a lift I don't know that a cheater would work either.

BFH? Leave the nut on the end to protect the threads. Just thrown out ideas.

If it is anything like the early model pickups, that was how I had to get mine out when I swapped out my front diff on my 90. I remember taking a head bolt that I had ground down to a point to drive it all the way thru.

I welded all the plates, brackets and braces for my SAS on my FJ cruiser today.

This I am looking forward to seeing finished. The FJs make nice SAS rigs. Just wish Toyota had realized that on the front end.

Pulled the starter off the 40 last night. She's cranking extremely slow. Volts look good. Cleaned up the battery ground and the starter connection. Replaced faulty negative terminal. But still a very slow crank. Certainly not cranking enough to pump fuel to carb. Fuel pump could still be an issue with the fuel delivery, but the starter is very weak.

Gave the slave cylinder bolts a shot of PB Blaster in prep for replacement.

Sounds like the starters dragging Andy, if you can pull it apart and clean the armature, and the contacts in the solenoid, I bet that'll fix most of it.

Thanks Jason. I had just enough time to get it removed and clean up the exterior a little last night. I'll dive into it this weekend and see if I can make any improvements before hauling it off for a rebuild.

If the armature isn't bad and doesn't sound like it is rebuild it yourself and save the money for another project.

Started replacing spring bushings this weekend. Got the rear springs all buttoned up, will do the fronts next weekend if the weather is nice.

Judging by the pics, I would say I got my money's worth out of these bushings! :)

...and also may have solved the mysterious popping noise in my suspension.
