I was told that I have a bad body/safety control module which is draining my battery. I was also told that the above mentioned control module is located behind the right front passenger kick guard.

Can you help me identify what components in these pictures are the control modules?

Second pic shows blower resistor.

It's for 98-07 LX.... for LC, you would just minus certain items like the AHC and tilt ECU. But the Cowl side junction box is the same location for all 100's.

Be aware that it will have a high power consumption for the first minute after turning off ignition and closing doors, and then go down to a few milliAmps. So for this kind of fault finding you have to leave the Amp meter on for a minute or 2 before concluding. There is a thread on the issue in here somewhere, iirc.

Hello all. I have been following this thread as I, too, am having issues with my head unit. I am getting the “Check Connection to Air Conditioner”. I purchased a gateway ecu on eBay (PN: 89111-60010) but I am not sure it is the one I need and I have no idea where it goes. I cannot find it on my 2002 LX470.
Could someone please help me find where this goes and if I bought the wrong part.

Thank you all in advance…
