What color for 1HZ engine paint

Black, maybe silver gray like the valve cover....

Well, black is the standard color for the engine block and oil pan and as you mentioned, silver for the valve cover. I was just thinking that a different color (more bright than black) would more easily show signs of corrosion (due to contrast between engine paint color and dirt/oil). So its all about maintenance.

Geezz.....With those colors it makes me wonder if you are painting an engine or vandalizing your neighbors house.
