One side has a hex head for installing so only goes in one way.

I chased all the threads first and they all seated exactly the same.

Were yours trail gear or the front range? I have both unfortunately because front range only had one set in stock. I may get a set of oems and take the tg set out.

I bought mine from Yotamasters, they are front range.

I hope everyone got to spend a little time with their Land Cruiser today.

I spent way to much time cleaning, prepping, and painting a spare wheel for my spare 35 for LL.

I also found an old sticker I had made in orange😊

Full size spare is mounted and has balancing beads in it. Plan is keep the skinny 33 on it and the fat 35 on the trailer back at camp. Lighter on the spare tire carrier and will get me back to camp or home.

I got lucky. I think? My twin stick shifter kit does not appear to work or it is missing some parts. I was able to make a small adjustment to the linkage and the stock 60 series shifter works great and clears.

Got Retro fired up under TBI and desmog. Huge thanks to @doseman and @matzell as “call a friend” options

Arp hub studs for the front plus new rotors and pads and re greased the bearings.

I definitely like these studs from front range better than the trail gear. Although the hex head for easy install on the tg is nice.
Awesome. Looking good

FINALLY - GOT IT!

Went over what felt like every inch of wiring, all connectors and finally found my problem. The swap harness has its own fusebox for and a key ECU circuit had a loose wire. How I did not spot this one of the first times I checked, I do not know. I will have to chalk up the parts installed to preventive maintenance and the time spent bashing my head into the wall as just a lesson learned.

Nice work !! So what's the status currently??

Starts, runs, drives.

Brakes are soft and need a good bleed, transmission linkage is a little off, and there are 1000 other projects, but yea I was ready to give it all up there for a while.

Next up is to pick up where i left off and do the back axle job.
