Good stuff, but I hope you have a lot of spline still in that slip yoke. Looks like it is about to fall out.
I had same concern last night once it was in place, plan to check this weekend, probably tonight.
Have 5" of spline in slip yoke still. Now my curiosity is up and I'll probably jack it up and go full droop and see what my spline engagement looks like

over the past weekend I was able to fully weld my new bumper for the gx. Now I need to paint get some fog lights added and install my winch.

What size welder is that? Up to welding 1/4 or is that 3/16?
3/16 plate is my max I can do.

Tech day, thanks to all those that came out!
Dove in and cut off rear bumper. Then proceeded to run out of welding wire. 
Will see how this progresses over the next couple weeks.

Yes it was. Plan is to build a bumper with a swing out. Should be able to mock up attachment points this evening once the kids go to bed.

Washed the 96 80 and put some 35's on it and put the front end on and some other things to the 72 40.

Coming to a front axle near you.....just need to get couple more items for my diff/axle build. Still need to get arp hub studs, moly and gear oil.
