Post some pics of how you do that
So far this is what I got. 3/16 plate steel. Once I get the bolt holes drilled, I will bend the edges to make a cleaner transition and hopefully not catch on anything.

Replaced door speakers, installed some sound deadening, and modded the dual box to fit 1 skar subwoofer. Everything works great now but installing an amplifier this weekend hopefully all goes well with that and the system rocks! I have a decent amount of Kilmat and siless sound deadening leftover if anyone wants some. I will say it didn't make the biggest difference.

May need to pick your brain on speaker replacement some time

Sounds good, let's get together for a beer soon. As long as this amp replacement goes well I may actually know a thing or two lol.

Definitely up for a beer. Yeah going to want to throw some new speakers in at some point but down my list of things

I can also throw my hat in the ring as well if you need some advice on stereo or wiring in general. I rewired the entire stereo and added a bunch of other goodies to my GS300 (that is still not driving) with new speakers, amps, and a sub and built a custom sub box a while ago. The stereo works great just need to button up some other things...I'll get to it one day

Finally scrapped all the copper and other metal crap I pulled out of the house…

Ordered a panhard bracket kit and front lower control arm drop brackets after talking to Rob the other week. Been working on mounting those but rain over the weekend made slow progress of it all and was only able to get the panhard bar leveled out.

Also relocated the washer fluid bottle with a slee kit but dissected the wiring harness and spliced the fluid motor a little cleaner than the instructions mentioned.

Noticed a little play in the front wheels so tightened up the wheel bearings just a touch, as well. They had been replaced about a year ago and just assuming preload wasn’t set correctly.

looking good! Mud!? I’m still finding that crap in every stinking nook and cranny

Finally got my mobile radio mounted and wired up in the 100. Main unit under the PS seat. Mounted the head unit on the center console

Finally got my floors refinished. Took 4 months to get them scheduled. The heart pine came out great! Now just to finish trim, electrical, painting, and putting all the doors back.

Swapped the front 3rd out for a 3:70 to match the rear and repacking the bearings. Hope to have this moving under its own power soon.
