Hi there all

I am considering parting with my BJ73 - HJ73 MWB and unsure what they are worth.

Is there anyone from Australia - give me some ideas?

Its a 1985, BJ73 - fitted with a 2H diesel (6cylinder) - in reasonable condition for its age - suspension lifted with BFG 33" tyres.

The reason for sell, just not using it and wouldnt mind a 4 door 4x4.

see attached pictures:

Well the FJ73 are cheap $4-5k for one in reasonable condition lic and running.
Add $1-2k on for a diesel and another $1-2k for a factory turbo.

Whether or not its diesel and body condition are the only things buyers consider as they are all 15-20 years old now
Although I have a thing about the aircon working:D

You should get some interest with the 2H
Try putting it in the outer limits classified, there is a lot of potential MWB owners there.
You know the ones with dying Hilux's with 22r motors;)

at least 5k, more if it scrubs up well.

how does it go with the 2H? much better than the 3B?

Hi there

There is big difference with the 2H fitted.

Its a lot more powerfull, especailly the lugging power - through the hills with the old 3b you would be changing down but not with the 2H-6 cylinder.

Its not as quiet as the 3B, the top end speed is still the same (as expected) but a cheaper conversion.

I will advertise it for 5k - see what happens?

Many thanks

Wayne
