You mean besides the fact it was a LWB truck?

You want that nice California frame, don't you? ;) Or are you thinking of yet another new project?

Hello there
They are a little differences, but from behind the row seats foward
not much difference so your fender doors and windshield frame
of course the top is different and the rear axel is different
depending on the year he could be difficult to find parts but here is
a web site they have all the parts you need www.sor.com

One is longer than the other :D

I believe that I read something in Matt's 45 thread that the front crossmember was at an angle as apposed to the 40 whcih caused him slight trouble with a powersteering conversion. I woud also expect that the spring rates would be different but I cannot confirm that for sure.

yea, uuumm whats the number on that? ill buy it now. 300 bones for a running 45 without a body? where is it?

I spoke to the owner of the last 15 years. Someone replaced the tub and bed with one off an old chevy truck? Then replaced the motor with a sbc327. He does however, say the the chassis and running gear(to include the trans/transfer case) are intact and original. He says theres a data plate on the frame identifying it as a FJ45,but doesn't know the year. If your interested i can provide his name and #.
