duane we will have to get together and go wheelin sometime...

and has any dates and places been set yet?
Sounds good! My wife is off weekends, and she usually likes to come along. Around New Years I'm heading down to New Mexico and AZ for a couple of weeks, but other than that I'm pretty much sitting around twiddling the thumbs.....

duane

cool man... well as soon as i get my front driveshaft extended ill drop ya a msg. and well go locally any mods to that 60 of your or is it stock adventures?

I dont know how likely it will be that I will get it done by this weekend since people on here are taking forever to get back to me. OH well I will try my best but how many could go during the week like that monday or tuesday hopefully.

the FJ62 is stock other than 31" tires. It isn't great offroad but if it suffers a little body damage, no biggie. I'm casually looking for an fj45 or 55 body to throw the 62's mechanical parts on but with the prices cruisers are going for its hard to find anything that i can swing financially

I'm in Medford and would love to go out. Let me know if any plans are set.

Always looking forward to meeting local mudders.

I'm thinking that with the weather we have forecasted for the next couple of days bringing a chain saw might be a good idea...

any dates? or places?

well i might be ready to go middle week? but it might just be locally in medford or southern oregon. hey greg we should totally go wheelin sometime where do you normally go!

If CreeperSleeper wants to lead a run Sunday the 17th, I'd love to go along-what's the lowdown on the Brown's Camp trail?

Creeper Sleeper lead the run I am waiting on a flexplate to ship to be able to get it all back together. I will for sure be able to do something middle of the week though if anybody can go then.

Brown's Camp is commonly called that which is actually the Tillamook State Forest OHV area- a series of about 15 trails offering a variety of difficulties and views of the forest. The trails accomodate stock to extremely built vehicles. Throughout the year trails can be closed due to season, logging, or maintenance so it is good to be flexible.

It requires an OHV permit just as all Oregon OHV areas do.

for a map and more info see- http://www.odf.state.or.us/areas/northwest/tillamook/tsf/ohv.asp

People call it Brown's Camp because that campground is usually where people leave their trailers, meet up, and camp. It is used by ATVs, motorcycles, 4x4s and hikers alike.

Creeper- I am thinking of going with the Vancouver 4wheelers run out of Battle Ground Saturday and if nothing major goes wrong would head to TSF Sunday.

Good info-unfortunately thats farther away than we can do for a day trip, so i'm probably out on that unless something closer to the Medford area is going on

cant make to browns i wish though... no money and i need to work on my 60 if its going to make it 5.5 hours to portland then over to TSF. have fun boys and post pics when yopu get back... i hope thats a good enough reason not to get made fun of...

I don't think anyone had a camera out all day. I was busy dragging trees out of roads and trails, 454 roaring happily. Had to pull one small one up a steep part of FB5, was a shame to do that. :D We checked on Crushers and none were up there. Snow was up on the ridges and made Hogsback fun.

We just kind of poked along and played in the snow. No breakages for the day. We had the most fun doing the trees as people were starting to make bypasses in really bad spots. One jerk that was behind us on firebreak 5 decided to try to go around the tree we were removing and promptly got his heep twisted up and stuck. After that they stayed behind us the rest of the trail. heh

Only saw 3 other groups of trucks during the day- the jeeps behind us, a group of buggies by Hogsback, and a stock group of minis and Troopers that looked a little awestruck at the site of the built 80s and the 45.
