For the record, am not 5150. Well, then again...I did decide this whole clapped out 80 build was a good idea. So maybe I am.

The engine is back together and after some fiddling, is running. There is still a lot of hoses to replace and things to get buttoned up, but progress is good. Hoping for a shakedown run for Rubithon.

Jumping into the way back machine, this rig was owned by Pat Kennedy in California. Tom Boyd bought it to cannibalize the 4X4 labs rear bumper, sliders, suspension and some other random parts and pieces. Here it is back when Pat had it.

I'm pretty sure we were camped a couple of sites over from this picture at Union Valley Reservoir a couple years ago.

After some fun with getting California smog passed, charged up the A/C. Drove to The Rubicon for TLCA's Rubithon the next day! Where else for a shakedown run?

Decided on adding air bags and better shocks for the next trip
