We're Moving (1 Viewer)

Well we had some bumps along the way with the buyers of our house and their bank, but we are finally moving on the weekend of January 24 and 25, 2009. If anyone wants to come down let me know and I will get you directions, plenty of pizza soda and beer. It isn't a far move, only about 2 miles down the road, but it is a much bigger house and yard for the kids, plus a decent shop that I am going to be putting an addition on.

Yep, we are currently at the corner of Route 850 and New Valley Road about 4 miles from 11/15, the new house is just out 850 2 miles so moving should go fairly easy.

Thanks, it will be nice to have a place for everything.

The shop is decent right now, it is about a 20' deep by 25' wide block building that is a two story and has a water line and 100 amp service already in it. I am going to be putting a 14' deep full width addition on the front of it so I have a decent work space. Little bit of work with some new windows and siding and it will be a nice little get away.

Plus I am out in the country where people don't really bother you with extra vehicles laying around, whereas the other house that we were going to buy was 25 feet from the neighbors and you couldn't park an unregistered vehicle on your property.

Sounds like a good deal, especially the shop part. Congrats on selling the old place, too. Can't beat country living.
If you have the need, I have an open 16' trailer that you could use to haul stuff. It's the same trailer that I use to haul the 40 on and it does have sides to it so you can really load the stuff on. I could probably give you a couple of hours on moving day.

Thanks Mike, I will let you know about the trailer, my buddy works for Enterprise ans he is getting a 16' box truck, so we should be good.

I think we will get everything moved Saturday, we currently have an 800-900 sf house, so not too much stuff and it is mostly all boxed up already. If you want to swing by on sunday to hang out, give me a call.
