Were Black bumpers ever a factory option for 60 series?

Been looking through the registry for what would strike me as a definitive option but I really couldnt find it

I'm pretty sure they weren't in the US. Charcoal bumpers were stock on some non-US cruisers and can be bought at some places, like coolcruisers.com

No offense, but couldn't you have put your questions in one thread?

I learned whenever I do that I never quite get all of the questions answered, and they didnt all come at the same time. It was after a little research that i started coming up with different questions. Also it helps people in the future using the search function to locate questions and answers. But thanks for your concern...:flipoff2:

I took mine off and dropped them off at a powder coater's....

and two days later, black bumpers! Bolt them back on and away you go.

Yes, some of non-usa FJ60/62 came with factory charcoal color bumper/grill/headlight door like mine.
I found there's three kind of trim package about 60 series- V, G and STD.
All of USA 60 series is G trim that has chrome exteroir.
Some V trim 60 series has chrome exterior, the others(especially middle east) has gold exterior.
STD trim has charcoal exterior with vinyl interior.(Not carpet but vinyl floor mat)
G trim is more luxurious than STD trim but I prefer vinyl interior than carpet :)

You can see the inside photo of my FJ62 at below link.

anyone ever rhino line/cheapo bed line the carpet? a looooong time ago I helped a friend "paint" the carpet in a Volvo wagon. worked like rhino liner, but you had to wear shoes after it was done or you were going to loose the skin off the bottom or your feet. The end product was like black spiky sandpaper. but the carpet was not hook and loop so the cruiser carpet might come out different

I'm sorry that I understood your question incorrectly by my own fault.
I thought the word 'hot' what you said might mean 'merit' not 'heat'.
Sorry again and forgive me that I'm not native english speaker. :)

Regarding heat problem, I saw many post which mentions about heat from floor.
But I couldn't feel any heat problem until now.
I think OEM vinyl floor mat insulates from heat very well.
After I'd read post about heat problem, I touch and examine floor mat sometimes when driving but I couldn't feel any problem.
Otherwise, the problem exist in cold winter.
From Dec/2 to until now , the temprature in my town went down to below -10 Celsius every night and some night, temp reached -22 Celsius that it's cold weather.
The vinyl floor make me feel colder than carpet when cold weather and before warm up.
It might only feeling itself but I can feel :)
To figure out this, I use carpet mat every winter.

soo funny .. I'm not a native speaker or writer .. I'm Panamenian with a lots of spanish in my blood .. :D

Ok back to the idea .. I thought the heat issue is priority here in Panamá with 32ºC and 90% humidity through the day ..

So I thought from pics I received that the bumpers were black. When I saw the car in person (and bought) realized that they were rhino lined. Are they factory? Pics in thread 'Bought a 60 pics inside'

We also have high temp and humidity in summer season.
32 ~ 36 ºC with 80~90 % of humidity is general weather in summer but I couldn't feel any heat problem still now.
The OEM vinyl floor mat insulates heat from floor very well.
I don't know about Rihno liner but think OEM vinyl floor mat work well with high temprature envirunment.

some people says it's dark gray, the other people says it's black, charcoal...
I don't know what is correct :)
It is brighter than color of bumper end cap(black ?) and darker than gray.
