Hi, before leaving a horrible first impression, let me start off by saying that I'm looking for a new rig to replace the GMC 2500. Simply put, it's a waste. It's a waste of space, a waste of money, a waste of gas, and a waste of a pretty good truck that someone else probably needs more than I do. It is my utility vehicle, and seeing how I haven't used it in months, I have decided to sell it and seek another utility that could double as a semi-daily driver that's economically, ecologically, and (most importantly) endorphinically friendly. I have actually been set on a diesel for the aforementioned reasons for quite a long time, and finally stumbled on the (x)J-60 a couple of days ago. I've been reading and researching, since then. I plan to find a cruiser in decent body condition with either a good running 3B, or a not-so good running *other* that could be swapped out with a JDM engine of my choice. My family lives in Japan and my father and I have been researching the idea of starting up an import export business. I would have access to whatever engine from the JDM that best suits. I am an amatuer mechanic at best, but I'm young and intelligible and willing to try anything with the garage full of tools my dad left stateside. So being more of a maxima 'guy' and not knowing the intricate details about the Toyota's, I must start off my first post here by asking a question which probably has an answer right in front of me. . . .
Sorry, I searched through the stickies and used the search function, but couldn't find an answer to the most trivial of questions
:gets flamesuit on:
What's the difference between BJ/HJ/FJ 60?
:shotts:
Thanks for reading my long boring post. You all seem like great, intelligent, kind, helpful people from what I've read and I look forward to reading more.
