Well i got it complete w56 trans transfer case setup

Got everything. Dude let me strip the truck of everything needed to swap my 86 4runner 33re a340h auto setup over to a 5 speed setup. Got the console trim shift boots. shift knobs. front rear driveshafts. trans transfercase. crosssmember. transmount. slave and master cyl. pedal assembly. the whole works. for 450. I could have got most the parts cheaper. But would have reatached the trans transfer case . couldnt get the front driveshaft. been so busy with work and takeing care my son. But i got it yesterday morning. Truck should be on the road around the 15th of this month. I get payed then i buy the new clutch kits. get the flywheel turned down should i get it turned or buy a new one. By muddy is telling me i should ask the place that turns mine down for a spacer to go behind the flywheel to move it back out the amount that they remove when they resurface it. i no i need to jump the neutral safty switch wires. and hook the revirse lights and 4wheel drive indicator light back up. Any other tips tricks i should no about. I havent had time to look at my auto truck. Does anyone no if the holes are in the firewall for the master cyl? is there extra holes in firewall for pedals or do they all bolt in the same? Any tips idea be great,. What gear oil should i use in the trans? i was thinking it might be good idea to drain and refill it befor i put it in same with transfercase.


loooks like im back in yotas. god i miss my fj62 i will own another cruiser one day. if i do i think im gonna hold out on a fj80 i want coil springs on next one :bounce2:
 
if i remember when i do it i will take photos and try to make some notes for a write up if possible. All the searching ive done theres no good write ups for doing a auto to manual swap
 
does anyone no if the holes are on the firewwall for the clutch master cyl in the 86 and up 4runners? i realy gota get this truck in front my house so i can start messing with it.
 
ur saying the holes on ur firewall? whats it got alittle plug in it?
 
went and started the 4runner . it seems to be running on two gerbils out the 4. Middle two sparkplugs were wet smelled like paint thinner the outer two plugs were dry. Im guesssing . the gas sat to long in the injectors and glued them shut. So im gonna replace the fuelfilter and get soem mechanic in a bottle or seafoam and run it threw the gas . To see if that helps if not i guess im gonna have to remove the injectors. And soak them in carb cleaner. then throw 12 volts to the wire conectors on them to break the sticky lose. any ideas or sugestions? I dont have 800 bucks for 4 new injectors.
 
i no and that sucks. i could have got it for 150 bucks. all accesorys everything.
