Seriously, I have an ARB bumper that I want to put on my 80 but I have to cut the homemade welded bumper off that PO welded way more than necessary! ARB bumpers are some of the easiest to install, they slide over the front frame rails and bolt on with six bolts. There’s no reason to weld it.

Thanks for the feedback, not my area of expertise at all. I had the bumper delivered to my body guy as a bunch of other work was getting done and he informed me that it did not come with any hardware and needs to be welded. I guess I better look into it more. Bolting on sounds way better.

your body shop guy is not familiar with the six holes on the front of your chassis rails, and coincidentally, same six holes on the ARB bumper! I'd email them the instructions from ARB bumper installation PDF and it'll show them everything they have to do. Removal of the factory bumper may free up some of the hardware that can be used to temporarily mount the ARB bumper. You can bring it home, then purchase and install the proper hardware on your own driveway.
