Sweet Taco!!! Love the fan too. Does it have the ability to connect to a power source outside the vehicle? That would be great at a place like Sicily Island.

idk, it would be nice though, i would go check to see if it could but the taco is already in the shop:mad:

I'm sorry to hear that bud that thing seemed perfect and he didn't spare any expense on it thats 4 sure. TRD boosted = smoked factory clutch. I put a centerforce in mine at 70K. Put a good one and you won't have to worry about it again for a long time.

Well it looks like we're going to have a great weekend with the weather, the boil and potentially signing up 3 new members. I look forward to meeting them at the boil. Welcome all ... :flipoff2:

Dave just moved here from Washington St and drives a 60. He's already visited MUD so I hope he'll find us and say hello.

Scott drives a 40 he saved from the salvage yard. Very nice job on the engine build. He contacted us looking to sell it but hopefully we can change his mind and get him to join us.

Jon is the new guy we've been talking with here in the forum and drives the nice blue FJ.

Larry

I'll join too when I get back from my trip....until then I'm just reading the forums and keeping silent.

Larry does this Jon with blue FJ work by Red ?

Hey Drew welcome and you found the right place for some help and advice. As you may have already found out the MUD forum is one of the best resources you can have. If you've learned the serach function in the 40 area you can get answers to almost everything you need. We also have a tech section here in our clubhouse forum where we help our members where we can https://forum.ih8mud.com/la-bayou-state-land-cruisers/164214-tech-questions-here.html which is another good place for you to post questions and get help. You should come by and meet our group at one of our meetings when you get the chance. Next one is 5/17. You can see all of our events here in the forum https://forum.ih8mud.com/la-bayou-state-land-cruisers/260806-2009-schedule-events.html

or here on the website.

I hope we'll here more from you.

We should have a new member joining the club soon. I sold my FJ-60 to my buddy Donny in Lafayette. Never ever, ever, ever thought I would see it go, but he really wanted a cruiser and thats what friends are for. I have lost a member of my family but still have a great friend. I will always remember "Old Blue", who never left me stranded, took both of my kids home after being born, and took me to hell and back with me abusing her and trying to break her on many occasions only to have her take me home time and time again. Very sad and happy day at the same time. Tears are in my eyes. Now lets see what Donny, who is a welder can do...........let the mods begin.

Good story Isaac and the funny thing is sometimes they have a way of coming back home. My first 40 did and now has a new home in TN where my parents will enjoy their retirement behind the wheel. He expects to give it to Holden when its time. Its great to hear all the stories behind some of these rigs and where they've been.
