Larry,
This is my first post. Learning as I go.

WOuld like to find out when and how to go to the Ozark cruiser Crawl (if my work priorities allow me to take time off.

Also would like the name of the sales rep at M-P in New Iberia to discuss a 2010 FJ purchase.:steer:

When you reply, I hope I can find it easily or send to my email address georockpuppy@bellsouth.net

Welcome. :flipoff2: < (this is the welcome solute)

This is the Ozark Cruiser crawl link.Mississippi's Toyota 4x4 Enthusiast Club | Cotton Land Cruisers They are calling it the Southern Cruiser Crawl which will help you when typing in search terms and such. If you are looking to get an FJ Cruiser that you want to do some serious off roading you may want to look at TRD all black ones. They seem to have all the bells and whisles but other members of our club don't seem to have a problem with theirs. Just sayin.

i looked at the trd not worth the xtra cash for a trd badge and soem shocks , they dont have the trd black any more they change the trd colors every year this past yea was white 2010 is gona be tan and black , the 08 on up u are abel to run the front atrack locker with the rear locker on in 4 low mineu cant its a 07 and it does make a diff! but i love my fj its a trail beast! and riders great even with the 33s i still get 16 in town and 18 19 on hwy , hell i slept in it at sicilly let it run for 6 hrs aall night and it way 88 90 deg ! not a prob! love it , the only neg took me a feww days to et use to driving it the veiw is diff has a weird blind spot but i fixed it with the little blind spot mirrors

Welcome Jack  neat concept :D

On Jacks behalf, thanks for the warm welcome. :flipoff2:

Also thanks to John for assisting in bringing Jack to my and our (BSLCA) families.

There was some limited discussion of Jacks roll in the BSLCA family. I have to admit I believe if the club is willing we could have a great time with him and also do some good.

History:
Jack was auctioned off to the highest bidder. It is the responsiblitly of the new owner to keep a photo album of Jack's travels and experiences for the following year. He is to be brought back to the next Jeep Jaunt with photo album and auctioned off again.

If the club is interested and willing, I believe we could apply BSLCA attitude of going above and beyond and have a great time with Jack.

Possibilities:
* Begin a thread for Jack
* Keep an outstanding photo ablum
* Throughout year collect donations for individuals to take a
picture with Jack (will go in photo album). Donations will be
turned into the American Lung Assoc. next Jeep Jaunt with
Jack (Thanks for the great idea PK)
* Lend Jack out to fellow BSLCA members, so he could travel
with their families or to buisnesses for greater donation
potential
* Some secret assignments discussed on a NTKB:D
* Use Jack to have some fun with JC and the Jeepers
* Make Jack a shirt: Front - I Love BSLCA Back - American Lung Assc. and Jeep Jaunt

Please let me know what you think.

If jack was a cut out flat piece of cardboard paper he would be easier to travel with. If you are going to different destinations via plane, he would take up lots of room. There was a thread in chat where a cut out of a similar idea went all around the world. It was a pretty cool thread but I forgot the name of it. Maybe someone else remembers?

Jack is not apiece of cardboard:rolleyes:

he is a three D entity that will return to the Jeep Jaunt in 2010 to be auctioned off again. full of tales a pics of his time in nervanna:D

but he will have seen the other side and may not want to return to his former life as a Jeeper:lol:

He could be photochoped to look 3D but if he stays 3D it seems he will live a sheltered life and not see much of the world outside of the good old U.S.A. but a least he doesn't have to spend it in a heep.:D

Sounds fun  I'm sure he can hitch a ride to the multiple events the club will be traveling to next year and could make a good trails or advertiser article as well. If he wants to hitch a ride to Tennessee for Thanksgiving we take him up the big hill to 6,600 feet to Clingmans Dome and the National Park for some pics.
