Does this sound right?
I installed a new Radio Deck on my FJ60 and in trying to ground the black lead(labeled as Chassis ground) I noticed a "spark" when I went to touch the newly sanded floor board(I have a screw here that secures the ground lead)
I got my voltmeter and measured about 10volts at the ground terminal that comes from the back of the stereo.
Also noticed radio will not turn on unless that ground lead is grounded to the chassis.
Is that right?
Radio will come on when the ground lead is attached to the floorboard/chassis ground.
Hope this makes sense.
