Weber Carb Tuning - Anyone?

Hi, I installed a new Weber carb about 12 months back on my 76 FJ40, and got it running OK, so I thought....

I bought a house and have somewhat been neglecting the FJ, and it does not want to start for nothing.

I put a little fuel in the top of the carb and it turns over 'FIRES' but does not stay on.

I thought it was not getting fuel, so I replaced the fuel filter with a clear one, and it's getting gas all right.

Checked the fuel pump as well, it's a pumping...

Does anyone know how to tune these carbs?

I logged on to ask an almost identical question about my weber on my 4runner. Is Edwin pretty good with tuning a weber carb on a 22r. I will probably limp it over there on Monday and let him take a stab at it.

Jeep Masters is supposed to be good with Webers but I wouldn't trust a toyota to them

So I talked to Edwin today over an LCS, and I'm going to see if he can work some magic on my rig.
