Weathertech Sunroof Wind Deflector - Whadyathink?

That looks just like the one that came on my LC and I love it. I actually designed my roof rack to be able to clear it so I wouldn't have to take it off. Mine doesn't have any of the problems stated here for future reference to anyone else interested in these wind deflectors.

Scrapped mine right after I bought the cruiser. Same problems stated above. Do not use, it is worthless.

I'm going to have to disagree for most here.

It wasn't the fact that I was getting "blasted" but more the fact that when the sunroof was open, it caused the glass to shake from the wind.

I found out that the OEM one was discontinued in 2007. So I looked for the weather tech one. I ordered it off of amazon, which a month later told me that they couldn't get it.

I called pretty much every toyota and lexus dealer from CA to IL. I finally tracked down a OEM at Grossinger Toyota in the city, it set me back $59. I mounted it and it is a world of difference. No longer do I have the shake from the glass and I still can use my sunroof.

Yes, added care is necessary (for paint reasons), so as long as you remove it every once in awhile for waxing/cleaning, then you should be good to go. It was the best $59 I ever spent for my truck imo.
