He probably wouldn't think about posting it up himself but he was solicited about using his sweet FJ55 by some Hollywood director in a commercial. :grinpimp: They transported it back and forth from AZ to CA and shot some video for Almond Milk. :steer:

Watching TV this weekend I saw several Almond milk ads ; they seem to be making a big push. Check out the ad below. I guess the almond cow milkers ;) wanted some cool wow factor

Nice job... Hope the autographs are still free... Especially for the NEW guys... :)

Funny how hours of film come down to seconds of exposure. Thought it was pretty neat how they used this classic in trying to convey the "good feelings" of the product.

It was definitely short but I guess they are trying to sell almond milk, not necessarily Land Cruisers. Ha!

...and they put a California license plate on it - the horror!

Awesome!
What my buddy Peter and Clay have always said, seeing a 55 is usually someone's first time, and the usual question is "What is that?".

Lots of LandCruisers being used in The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead series, too. It's always cool to see some of the 60-series LC on TV. I'm also noticing some on TV commercials which tend toward the 80-series for some reason.

We switched to almond milk not too long ago, but you'd have to ask my wife-unit why. I rarely drink the stuff,

I saw that Almond Milk commercial the other day too and certainly noticed the 55, cool! Thanks for sharing.

That new series Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders had a FJ62 in the first episode. Then last night it was on again. They transport it on the their plane with them. Next to it on the plane is a new jeep that just seems to sit there.:hmm: Thought it was kind of a stretch the government would transport a twenty-five year old vehicle around the world with them. Especially one made in Japan.:meh:

The AAA ad also has a FJ62 and both 62s have trashed dashes.:bang:

Now I like that brand of almond milk even more. And then there's the Firestone commercials, and the photographer with the nice 40, and we were watching one of those "we're buying a house" shows and the buyers were driving a 70 series (in Texas I think). Dang now I'm getting the LC bug again.

Nice 55!
