I feel safer in my 60 than I do in my 1999 Tahoe. The rig is made very tough and will with stand more damage in an accident than the human body can.

If you want a stronger factory rig you might want to look at an H1 Hummer.

I've been thinking about adding a Milford Cargo Barrier. Besides keeping your junk in the back from hitting you, they are supposed to add some measure of roll-over protection and act as a roll-bar. I believe service vehicles in Australia require cargo barriers?

I hit the back of a ups truck going 30 and it tilted my front bumper up 4in no other damage, and the ups truck was missing a door and i moved it up a couple parking spots...my brakes went out. They are pretty structurally strong rigs.
