Was driving home from the mountain couple days ago and I swore I could hear water sloshing. Couldn't tell if it was inside roof or door and so I felt A pillar and headliner and no issue there.

I have a Prinsu roof rack but sealed the hell out of the bolts during installation as we live in the rainy PNW and I'm paranoid about water. Always seem to be dealing with leaking RVs and vehicles. 😔 I hate how the roof racks install through the roof to be honest, just doesn't have to be done that way..

Could it be I was hearing water Outside the vehicle sitting in the roof rack channel? It sounded like water in a water bottle (yes I looked everywhere inside, no bottled water anywhere 😋.

Going to go investigate in the garage to see if I can find anything shortly.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to check first?

Thanks in advance - Happy Holidays!

Are there drain plugs in the rockers? Try pulling those and see if any water comes out?

The cross bars on the prinsu rack can hold water. It will drain slowly. Spray some water and see if you can replicate?

This is the answer. I have a prinsu too and I know the exact sound. When I turn out of my driveway a wave of water drains from the rail channels.

I get that slosh from the channel also. Think it is something to do with my BP51 lift combined with the roof rack.
