Its raining in LA.. finally...
Problem is there is some water leaking from my front windshield. bottom left and right corners, more from the right one.
Is there a quick fix for this type of issue. Or the only way is to re-seal the windshield. I was quoted around 300.00 to do the job. Is this a fair price ..

the long term solution would be to re-seal the windshield, but I need to save some cash.

any suggestions are appreciated.

Search and yee shall find.

Usually the rain tubes are clogged for the sunroof.

$89.00 to seal mine in Cleveland, OH. $300 seems a bit high.

300 bucks is rape. A new windshield INSTALLED is a lot less than that. You need a new glass shop.

I just used a tube of Black Silicone between my glass and the seal (If thats where your leak is). I actualy could see where the water would go under the glass and come into the cab in the corners.
Try to clean with Denatured alcohol and then use Permatex Black Silicone ($3.89 from walmart), seemed to work for me.

thanks.. I'll give the Permatex a try for now, and then will look for a different glass shop..
