Hi all I’m in the Uk RHD a vehicle 100 series 2004
My 100 series is having a problem where the carpet in the rear where the additional seats are secured is getting wet
My seats are removed but the little recesses where the seats are secured there are small pools of crystal clear water. The dampness seems worst on the offside and obviously is tracking across the carpet
I’ve removed the plastic hinged strip across the lower tail gate opening to enable me to lift the carpet
But I need some advice on how to remove the side plastic panels or any other tips as to where the water maybe be getting in
I’ve run water over the rear but can’t see any water pouring in
Cheers all I look forward to your advice

The interior is fairly intuitive to disassemble, just take your time pulling the panels off and look for fasteners if it's too hard to pull something off. You need to remove the lift gate cover before the cargo area side panels. You need to remove the lower seat belt bolts for both back seat pillar covers and the left cargo lower seat belt bolt, but not the right. Look at my post for my truck, there is a pic of the carpet and side panels removed.
