I have water splashing back and forth at the rear cargo area under the deck, forward of the tailgate.
There was a gear oil spill, a full quart on the carpet. The “detailer“ used a pressure washer on the 6’ x 4“section of carpet, and it sounds like there’s a gallon of water going back-and-forth when I turn.
The towel covers the area that was pressure washed, the splash back-and-forth is below that.
Anybody know how I get to it?
Looking for a fix, not legal advice 😂
TIA!

If there are rubber drain plugs in the rear quarter panels, remove them.

This… located behind the rear bumper cover, each side. May be able to reach from underneath the vehicle, reaching up behind the rear wheels

I'd remove that carpet, power wash it with a LOT of Simple Green solution, multiple times (I hate the smell of gear oil and it can linger for a long time). While it's out, remove the bolts for the 3rd row hardware as those will function as drain holes. I'd also remove the side panels in the cargo area to make sure you don't have gear oil there as well. Again, be liberal with the Simple Green on the inside. While everything is out, it might be a good time to add extra sound deadener, maybe replace the sub-woofer if needed.
Once everything is dried out, run an ozone generator back there for a while to help clear out the smell.
