Following a conversation on the 70 series forum. Got me to thinking Coastal Crusier guys must have knowledge and probably done parts or all of this. Looks like a solid week to do comfortably.
Looking for knowledge or experience on it.

What's the link to the forum, I can't find it searching on Mud?
I've not done the route but have researched it. Looks to be mostly FSR type roads, a fair bit at higher elevations so snow stays into very late spring towards the north. Some less traveled areas have a lot of blowdown to clear early in the season. Scenery looks spectacular though. Appears that it's very popular with the adventure moto-bikers also.

Here it is. Damned thing has me at a bunch of motorcycle shops today looking at AfricaTwin 1100's.
I used to ride before this job, getting that semi-retirement itch.
PNW Meetup

You don't want an Africa Twin to do BDRs... or so I've been told by my ex Africa Twin-owning buddy
He watched the videos with super riders like Pol Torres and figured that was the way to go. Funny how those guys can make it look easy

A lot of crashing and lifting of said 500 lb "trail" bike later, its gone, he is loving life on a CRF300, and is planning to do Mexico-Canada on as many BDRs as possible.

I think @Glenn-BJ74 has maybe done some of the WBDR?

Hey, I have 3 land cruisers and so far none of them have fallen over while on the trail nor landed on me.
So it's just fun to look and dream. I've not ridden full time in 20 yrs so it's just fun to look.
But on the PNW Meetup thread and lets face it - driving to the start of that trail is closer than Port Hardy
for me. So it would be fun to go, travel with a group of like minded people. Or maybe just check it
out solo. I don't think the trail overall is too difficult.

My buddy has ridden it with his KTM and it's a beautiful trip for sure; I agree, not super technical but not as easy as gravel travel either the whole way either.
