Under warranty and extended warranty on my 2001, I've had the following repaired FREE:

Front 4-pinion diff (driver error was the cause)
Lower arms and ball joints
Upper arms and ball joints
Steering rack (wasn't needed...turned out to be loose-again wheel bearings)
CV boots
CV joint

I had my '99 front diff replaced under warranty. It was a hassle to get the 3rd party insurer to cover it but they finally did. I got the better 4 pin setup too. My car was dirty when it showed up, I just used a garden hose to remove a little of the mud. Overall it was a pain in the ass but I saved $2500.
I had an axle and front carrier assembly replaced. Thread
