Has anyone centered their rear axle? If so I was looking for some info like where could I get some axle tubes and what length? Can you get stock length axles that fit the 3rd member? What's the degree of difficulty to this mod?

ford 9" rear of a 66-77 bronco is centered and the same width as a 60

I'm a CruiserHead .. for sure .. but the 9" Ford .. have a really huge pinion, good contruction as well.

Looks like the 9" would be the way to go since it's the same width and just change gears.I think it would be fairly easy and cheap to convert to convert it to disc brakes. Most circletrack racers run that set up.Thanks for the info

The 9" is a 4.11 & the LC is a 4.10, but what's 0.01 between friends?

There are several disc/ebrake setups for 9-inchers. And you can get custom axles that will accept the 3/4 ton bearings - did it on my '56 F100. Don't know about air lockers, though.

If you were going SOA, maybe the 9" is the way.
