Many guys hate AHC and Im making my goal to understand the system fully and run it successfully in an off road towing environment. Yes its a tall order but with proper tuning with the help of Tech Stream software I going to give it a go. In order to do this without breaking the bank I asking for your used unwanted take off AHC components for the needed research.

Phil lets talk. I have a box of stuff and all was working when I removed. Only casualties were the hard lines. Happy to contribute.
Thanks I will in contact after the holiday.

Out of curiosity why did you remove your AHC?

Added front and rear bumpers, sliders and 16 extra gallons of "aux tank" so was concerned about it failing somewhere far away. My plan had been to get regular non-AHC T-bars and springs to help the system handle the weight and be more reliable, but in the end Christo talked me into going with regular OME 1.5" lift. TechStream showed me that my rear pressures were at the high end of the OK range already (13 year old springs - 01 LX470).

I did love being able to adjust the height - and also the constant height features. I can't say for sure that I noticed any difference between the different firmness settings though. I still miss the coolness factor of the AHC, but I also enjoy the confidence in the OME stuff.

Because pix are why we are here...

A long way from home (and too far to drive back in limp/low AHC mode, with rear bumper, almost full tanks + 5 gallons water and all the camping stuff... ;-)
